Bala Elkana, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, has denied online reports that Bobrisky was arrested after the venue of his birthday was shutdown. When asked to confirm if the popular Crossdresser was arrested, Bala said No he was not arrested'' He however declined to speak on why the party was disrupted. According to him, investigations is ongoing and he will make the outcome of the investigation public soon.  ''Well I don't really want to go into details now because the investigation is ongoing. The Lagos state police command has confirmed its officers shut down the venue of crossdresser, Bobrisky's 28th birthday party holding in Lekki, Lagos state today August 31st The spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, confirmed that the directive for the shutdown came from the state command. Explaining why, he said  ''Police have sealed off the venue based on credible intelligence. That is the most brief I can give for now'' he said

Nigerians are   reacting shortly after Police shutdown the venue of Bobrisky's 28th birthday party in Lekki. The crossdresser was to hold his 28th birthday party tonight (August 31) at an event center in Lekki. But Police officers in various operational vehicles stormed the venue to enclose the area.  This development comes two days after Bobrisky dragged  Otunba Olusegun Runsewe , the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, who last week, said he is a National disgrace and will soon be dealt with by the government. Bobrisky has broken his silence after the Lagos state police command disrupted his 28th birthday party. In his post, Bobrisky said nothing can break him as he is a hard rock. 

Few hours after DJ Arafat was laid to rest at Williamsville cemetery in Abidjan’s working-class Adjame district, his grave was desecrated by fans for social media photos.  The incident occurred just after Ivoriens paid their last tribute to the late entertainer in an overnight grand funeral concert which began on Friday August 30. AFP reported that some fans were injured after the police fired tear gas to disperse the grave profaners who forced open the fresh grave and coffin, taking photos and videos they shared on social media. Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has vowed to drag Governor Nyesom Wike to court over the alleged demolition of the Rainbow Town Central Mosque in Trans-Amadi area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.  The Governor of one of the 12 northern states practicing Sharia Law said he received the news of the demolition with shock while promising to seek legal redress against the Rivers State Government.   “As government, we have started touching appropriate quarters against the demolition. A royal grand funeral concert was held on Friday August 30, in honor of late Ivorien entertainer DJ Arafat at the 35,000-capacity Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium. The event in which A-list African stars such as Davido, Sidiki Diabate, Fally Ipupa and Serge Beynaud performed in, had some happy and teary moments. The coffin of the “coupe-decale” singer who was conferred with the national order of cultural merit for “his immense contribution to the artistic radiance” of Ivory Coast before the grand send-off, was placed in the middle of the stadium as his fans paid their last respect.
