Manchester United fans have gone on Twitter to lament and criticize the club's hierarchy after Burnley stunned Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.                                Burnley who have never won at Old Trafford since 1962, beat the Manchester club and fans are now raging on Twitter, calling for Man United coach Ole Gunnaer Solksjaer to be sacked immediately and the United executive Ed Woodwars to resign immediately. Nigerian man intentionally drives van into residential apartment where his ex-wife lived in the US, causing fire
A Nigerian man identified as Anthony Imafidon has been arrested by the police after he intentionally drove a van into his ex-wife Bisi’s building at Staten Island, causing the vehicle to burst into flames. 

The van which crashed into the building at 671 Bay St. in Staten Island just before 11 p.m. on Sunday September 22, was driven by the 42-year-old Nigerian national and it was captured on video.

Bisi and her children — a 15-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy -— and others inside the building escaped unhurt after the fire which the police believe was caused an incendiary device in the van razed down the apartment. It was brought under control at about 11:30 p.m.

Imafidon who holds a first degree in Economics from Bayero University in Kano and a second in Psychology from the Staten Island College, was the only one injured in the incident and he was taken to a local hospital before being released.

He is now in police custody and faces several charges, including four counts of attempted murder, four counts of attempted assault, two counts of arson, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and — because there were children in the building — acting in a major injurious to a child.

Insecurity: FG to install CCTVs along highways, monitor bushes using aerodrones As part of measures to address issues of insecurity in Nigeria, President Buhari today announced plans by his government to install CCTVs strategically along highways and monitor forests as well as bushes using aerodrones.  The President disclosed this when he received the Ooni of Ife,  Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, and other monarchs from the South West in his office in Abuja today July 31st. The Ooni of Ife who led the delegation to the state house, told newsmen after the meeting that the President gave an assurance that the entire security architecture of the country would be restructured. Photo: Court jails school proprietress for obtaining N5m under false pretense The Maiduguri Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentencing of Josephine Udeh, before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court, sitting in Maiduguri on a one-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N5, 059,000. Udeh, who was the Proprietress of Dala Standard Secondary School, Maiduguri, collected the said sum as WAEC registration fees from 284 students of her school and converted it to her private use. She pleaded not guilty upon her arraignment on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. In the course of the trial, the prosecution presented 10 witnesses and 10 exhibits which pushed her to enter into a plea bargain agreement with the EFCC.
